Make the 2026–27 Hunters Guide part of your trip plan

The province’s July 30 preparation notice points hunters to the season guide, licence services and land-access information.

The official preparation notice

Saskatchewan’s July 30, 2026 notice directs hunters to the 2026–27 Hunters Guide for season dates, licence choices and wildlife-management changes. It also links the provincial hunting and HAL services. The notice is a useful starting point; the applicable table and later notices still need to be checked.

Turn the guide into a short checklist

Write down the species, WMZ, date, residency and licence you intend to use. Read the matching table and notes, then save the relevant pages with your trip information. Mark a question for follow-up whenever a condition is unclear.

Keep the current version

The provincial hunting page explains that updates can follow the printed guide. Reopen the official page before a new trip and compare saved copies when the plan changes. Use the land-permission information alongside the season check, since a licence does not settle access to a particular property.

Original sources

Use this as a planning guide. Check current official requirements and site conditions before travelling.
