From land research to a practical plan
SKHunter brings together a land directory, maps, original learning guides, species topics and links to official regulations and updates. It is designed for people preparing hunting and scouting visits in Saskatchewan, from a first season to more experienced field practice.
Public learning content is available in English, Chinese, French and Spanish. Place, species and organization names retain their original names so readers can match a guide to the map and its source.
Sources and original teaching
Land entries distinguish mapped boundaries from reference locations and explain source coverage and limitations. A map entry helps you investigate a place; current ownership, entry permission, posted conditions and the actual approach still need their own checks.
Guides show review dates and link to the responsible official sources for current requirements. Worked examples, checklists and teaching diagrams are original editorial material. AI-generated teaching images are labelled as illustrations; they do not establish a real location, an animal sighting or safe field conditions.
Your private planning records
You can keep favourites, observations, land contacts, preparation checklists and day plans. Guest records stay in the browser; signing in allows account synchronization. These records are not published in the public land directory or public search.
A saved contact, an old permission note or a favourite does not grant access. Keep the people, dates, parcel and conditions clear, and confirm the arrangements for each visit.
Independent of the organizations we reference
SKHunter is an independent website, not a government agency, land manager or licensing service. References to FWDF, SWF, Saskatchewan authorities and other organizations identify the source of information, not an affiliation or endorsement.
The responsible authority and landholder or manager determine the rules and permission for a particular visit. Use current official information alongside the learning material, and send corrections when a source or page needs attention.
